Marvel have produced an admirable universe, capturing iconic characters we grew up with, and introduced many to it’s lore. Throughout these blogs, I plan to talk through every film I would like to see, and perhaps even suggest castings. But first, there’s some terminology I’ll talk through.

MCU- If you don’t know this one, then go back to the home page. Just kidding. It means the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is the universe where all Marvel films have taken place. It is the collective of 22 films- the X-Men franchise is separate.

The Golden Age- Google defines this as ‘ the period when a specified art or activity is at its peak ‘. The MCU was launched in 2008, and throughout three phases, which I will call the Golden Age of the MCU.

The Silver Age- Defined as ‘a period regarded as notable but inferior to a golden age. ‘ This is the universe I will suggest.
