The Legion of Superheroes were quite important in Season 3 of Supergirl, and also are apparently important in the future. We know that the future doesn’t know about the past, and that’s why the Legion went back in time, and met Supergirl, and therefore Reign. Today, I thought I’d blog about the Legion, and who I think should be in a lineup.

The leader of the Legion, in the future, and also his birth-time, Mon-El, as much as I hated him at first, he was actually better with the Legion, and I would trust him to lead the Legion in this time, potentially trying to stop whatever went Southside in the future.

The next member would need to get on well with Mon-El. Supergirl has really gone for t he whole ‘Telepath’ thing this season, beginning with J’onn Jonnz, and going on to include villains like Psi. But Mon-El holds a Telepath specifically close to his heart: Saturn-Girl. Irma Ardeen has a large expanse of abilities at her disposal, including her Legion ring. She would be a valuable asset to the team.

Gideon gives us the next member, stating that Nora West-Allen was a member of the ‘rebooted Legion-‘, before being cut off. Every team needs a speedster, and this Easter egg provides the perfect member. I personally like Nora, and it’s a path she could go down, if my other theory doesn’t pan out.

The next member that should join the Legion, should be Dream Girl, also known as Nia Nal. Capable of channeling dream energies, as well as precognition through dreams. She has joined the Legion in the comic books, and therefore it could happen. It’s also yet another character introduced in Supergirl. Great.

During my Justice League blog, I flirted with the idea of Cisco Ramon maybe joining a League, as rumors that he may be leaving existed. Cisco Ramon joining the Legion, a team of lesser known heroes, would make sense, and therefore, he could.

A Legion show could replace Legends, and would promote a new era of the CW universe. Brainiac 5 and Winn would watch over the Legion. What do you think? Could it happen? Please, leave a comment to prove I’m not just talking to myself.
